Call for Expressions of Interest - ILO TVET Reform Project, Bangladesh (Applications until May 1, 2014)

The assignment will require travel to Dhaka, its surrounding environs and possibly one visit to
Chittagong. The mission will be at least 2 weeks and is planned to be during May 12- June 4, 2014.

Selection of the consultant(s) will be based on the strength of the qualification and experience provided
by the potential candidates through their expression of interest (EoI) for the assignment. Interested
candidates should include in their EoI:

· details of their background and knowledge of the subject area, previous programme,
organizational and thematic experience relevant to this assignment;

· a statement of availability for the assignment, together with an estimated cost of the evaluation
work. This statement should contain a confirmation of no previous or current link to the project
and no personal relationship to the people who manage the project/programme; and


· the Applicants’ CV should have a minimum of eight years of experience conducting evaluations; at least
10 years experience with the TVET sector including policy; the ILO mandate and its tripartite and
international standards foundations. Country experience in the project country under review is an
advantage. Candidates should also demonstrate solid team skills.


The deadline to submit EoIs for the evaluation is by close of business on May 1, 2014. Please send your
EoI via email to the evaluation manager, Mr. Natanael Lopes at lopesn@ilo.org and indicate TVETR
Independent Final Evaluation in your e-mails subject line.
